Rev. Robert Chau came to the United States with his family as a teenager. He attended church at the Overseas Chinese Mission in New York City. During a summer retreat, he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. Since then, he has had various opportunities to serve God. God placed a calling in his heart to serve Him full-time.

After graduating from college, he worked and ran a business while also involving himself in various ministries to equip himself for future service. He graduated from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia in 2012. Since then, he has been serving God full-time at OCM Canaan Church in the Greater Princeton area of New Jersey.  He was appointed as a Senior pastor in May 2025.

He and his wife, Emily, serve the Lord together and have two children, Tiffany and Daniel.
